portsmouth nh real estate: Portsmouth NH Homes and Condos - Market Update for Dec. 2008 - 01/10/09 12:54 PM
Portsmouth New Hampshire Real Estate Market Update - December 2008
The real estate market in Portsmouth had ups and downs in 2008.  Demand was there, inventory was there in some parts of the market and in other parts it was very lean.  Some areas in town have a pent-up demand, such as the Little Harbor area, and others have an over-supply of homes or condos on the market.
Real estate in Portsmouth NH and the surrounding area is always a topic of interest for most people in this area.  As the real estate market goes, so goes most other things, it seems.

portsmouth nh real estate: Portsmouth NH Real Estate ~ 2007 Market Recap - 01/11/08 12:26 AM
Portsmouth NH Homes | Portsmouth NH Condos
This past year in the Portsmouth NH real estate market, we saw  a number of interesting things, scattered over several months.  We saw a number of properties sell very quickly, and for close to or at their asking price.  We also saw multiple offer situations from time to time as well.
The important part of each of those situations was that the sellers paid attention to what the market was indicating for price, and they priced their properties appropriately for the market at that point in time.

Sales of Portsmouth NH homes in 2007 topped … (10 comments)

I've been reading and hearing that this winter will be warmer than originally predicted up here in New Hampshire and the northeast in general.  I'm loving that news!!
The Farmer's Almanac had predicted a slighter colder and snowier winter for us up in this corner of the country, but now several other sources, in particular the NOAA, are now saying that's not looking like it will come to be.
The NOAA is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, US government forecasters.
