Yardley Recycle Day

 

It's time to start getting ready for Yardley Borough's Annual Recycling Day, sponsored by the Yardley Environmental Advisory Committee and  held this year on Saturday April 27 from 9 am to 1 pm at Buttonwood Park, adjacent to Yardley Town Center.

 

Accepted Items Include:

Computers and related equipment
Electronics
TVs, DVD/VCR/VHS/Beta players
Bicycles (any condition)
Cell phones (any condition, yesr, make, model)
Printer/toner/fax cartridges
Paper, documents, CDs, DVDs with shredding on site
Dry and clean sneakers (NO metal cleats or dirty wet shoes) Can be dropped off at
   Optimal Health Center during Month of April at 301 Oxford Valley Road, Suite 1405, Yardley, PA 19067
Rechargeable non-alkaline batteries (tool, cell phones, etc.)
LP/Cassette/Music CDs
American Flags

 

 

The following items cannot be accepted:

Alkaline Batteries (A,AA,AAA,C,D)
Hazardous Waste/Materials
Paints/lead paint
Medications or related material
Car batteries, antifreeze, used motor oil
Clothing



Yardley Borough Police will be sponsoring a prescription drug collection the same day at
Yardley Borough Police Station. Please bring in any unused medications - current or expired.
