Three recent closings have been with clients who are either relocating to another city or state or who already live out of town and were handling the sale of a family home from a distance. I will miss these "friends" very much.
Real Estate is a funny business - our relationship wiith clients is an intense one. As we ready the property for sale and begin the marketing, we may have contact with our clients on a daily basis. Once the marketing period moves forward, the agent and client might develop a rhythm - … (19 comments)

Fire the Board of Trustees! - 11/10/11 07:16 AM
Fire the Board of Trustees!  The scandal at Penn State University is another example of those in charge failing to protect the least among us.  When we become more concerned with protecting one man's legacy  or the football program's legacy and we forget our responsibilities to ensure the proper, legal and moral conduct of those in our employ, we have failed in our responsibilities.
It is sad that Joe Paterno will finish a distinguished coaching career on such a disgraceful note. However, I believe strongly that Coach Paterno, in his affection and friendship for Assistant Coach Sandusky forgot his responsibility to … (12 comments)

Election Day is tomorrow and I can't wait! - 11/07/11 12:00 PM

Election Day is tomorrow and I can't wait to exercise my cherished right to vote. Mostly I can't wait for the negative advertising - both print and media -  to be over! I was a big city girl for most of my life. Regular readers know that I spent 47 years living in Philadelphia. I grew up in what is known as Lower Northeast Philadelphia. I went to college in West Philadelphia at Drexel University and my husband and I raised our children in two different homes in the Northeast's Rhawnhurst section. In the big city, politics  and politicians were a … (5 comments)

Three extra hours a week and what I will now do with them! - 11/03/11 08:21 AM
Three extra hours a week and what I will now do with them!  Many of my costumers and clients live out of town - anywhere from 25 miles away to across the country.  I started using the paid Docu-Sign version this past Spring and Docu-sign has become an increasingly important part of my business, even with very local but very busy clients. Sad to say, I have used this time to work even harder and then to write and blog more.  Thanks to Bob Stewart's challenge and hint that using the time to work harder requires a different conversation, I am resolving … (12 comments)
