The Birds, The Bees, The Woodpeckers and The Trees - 02/22/12 05:10 AM
James Quarello has written a very thorough post about landscaping issues before, during and after the home inspection. I am reposting for its universal appeal. What looks great is not always ever great for structure of the home - unless you happen to be insects, bees or woodpeckers. Please leave a comment on James' post. He will appreciate it. Via James Quarello - Connecticut Home Inspector (JRV Home Inspection Services, LLC): This is not a life lesson for a young person with raging hormones, though it may sound that way. This is about flora and fauna for the homeowner. Most every homeowner is

Women network differently from men! - 02/10/12 08:55 AM
Women network differently from men. As nurturers, women bring a particular skill set to the table and we look to form a relationship with our referral partners. With that in mind, the Professional Women’s Business Network is a “non-profit group established to bring together businesswomen who are looking to share their expertise with other diverse businesswomen.” Women network differently from men. Each PWBN chapter holds monthly meetings to provide our members the opportunity to enrich their knowledge base and expand their network. Women network differently from men. From its humble beginnings just about four years ago,

Michael Thornton is a very knowledgeable home inspector in Tennesee; however, his message on fuse boxes is universal. Please leave a comment on Michael's post, he will appreciate it. The Big Game is over and we are all winners! It's Monday morning and Super Bowl XLII has entered the history books with the underdog New York Giants winning over the New England Patriots 21-17. However, as compared to many past Super Bowls, the game remained competitive, so football fans were rewarded with an entertainng game and advertisers, especially those who risked late game tv spots, should have been rewarded with enough viewers to justify their investment. NBC found a way to market the Super Bowl for the entire weekend, so certainly they are happy with themselves this morning as well. The
