Pay it forward - 12/26/10 06:28 PM
Paying it forward is especially fun during the holidays. I think people are so busy that they don't have as much time to do nice little things for others. Although, some think of it only at this time of year.
Anyway, I decided to help an elderly neighbor of mine. It's been snowing a bit here and I have found that most elderly people prefer not to go out during the storms or until the roads and walks are cleared.

I like to be a Secret Santa to someone each year. 
I was needed to help a family celebrate Christmas a little this year that would otherwise not have the opportunity.
 
My heartstrings were pulled a bit by a friend confiding in me about her holiday dilemma.  Things are really tight and she had no money to put something fun under her tree for her son.  She had to get him a coat and boots, but to a boy - that’s no fun.  She really didn’t want to let him down.

I am sharing with you one of those great Kodak Moments. Just like when your kids do something special you think - darn, where's my camera - I want to grab that photo and they move jsut before you get the shot! You can't get the shot and can't recreate it.

After spending most of Monday and Tuesday working on continuing education to renew my Real Estate License I had to catch up with my buyers and sellers I hadn't touched base with for a few days.


I want to work with the Brian Buffini system as much as possible and have not been keeping up with my calls and notes this month. On Wednesday I contacted 15 of my past customers and clients.

31 Days of December Challenge – This is April Hayden-Munson’s blog, Realtor ® in Brookfield Wisconsin.
 
Well, it’s the time of year to renew licenses and pay dues to stay a member of the Wisconsin Realtors ® Assocation.
 
In order to renew my Real Estate Brokers’ License in the State of Wisconsin I have to complete 18 hours of continuing education.
 
So, my Days 13 and 14 of this challenge were spent completing the education requirement and applying for my new License.

　 Pay it forward - each day I try to do something "nice" for someone. Sometimes it's someone I know, sometimes it's someone in my office. Sometimes it's at a grocery store, you just never know when a smile or a little help to someone can change their day.
Earlier this week I was driving by a competitors' listing on Hampton Ave, in Menomonee Falls. This condo has been on the market for some time. The condo was sold to the current owners at the height of the market, they just can't sell at a top price now, so it sits … (8 comments)

Day 9
Today was certainly a busy day in real estate.
Started the day answering voice mail and email from clients and customers.
Heard from a past client living in Milwaukee on the edge of Wauwatosa, caught up with her on her current life. She had a flood over the summer and we hadn’t touched base since July. She has a new dog to keep her company. She is looking forward to the holidays. Elaine is one nice lady and I am happy to be her Realtor ® and friend!

Days 5,6,7 and 8 Of Active Rain 31 Days of December Challenge.  To keep business at a maximum we are challenging one another to do business every day of December.  Here's a few things I've done in the  past few days....
On Sunday, Day 5 of our challenge - set up appts to show duplex foreclosures to a client.  Answered calls to several buyers on my listings.
On Monday, Day 6 of our challenge -  In addition to normal work....  working all day! Showed a foreclosure in West Allis - Rough shape for sure! Here's a shot of the kitchen celing - … (6 comments)
