The Pinehurst - Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service carried 43 Active Listings for Horse Farms within Moore County as of June 1, 2008.  Of those listings, 21 were located in Southern Pines while 4 were located in Vass and 5 were located in Carthage.  The others were located in Aberdeen (1), Cameron (3), Foxfire (2), Pinebluff (1), Pinehurst (4), Robbins (1), and Whispering Pines (1).  The price of these Horse Farms ranged from a low of $118,500 to a high of $6,950,000, with the average price equal to $1,226,883  and the median price equal to $775,000.  The average number of days these listing were on the market ran 248, while the median number of days ran 223.   This is 8 fewer Horse Farms on the market than on February 1, 2008, with the average number of days on the market increasing only 9 days, although the median number of days has increased 38 days.

This compared to 47 Active Listings for Horse Farms within Moore County as of April 1, 2008.  Of those listings, 25 were located in Southern Pines while 6 were located in Vass and 6 were located in Carthage.  The others were located in Aberdeen (1), Cameron (1), Foxfire (2), Pinebluff (1), Pinehurst (3), Robbins (1), and Whispering Pines (1).  The price of these Horse Farms ranged from a low of $159,000 to a high of $6,250,000, with the average price equal to $1,205,759  and the median price equal to $795,000.  The average number of days these listing were on the market ran 287, while the median number of days ran 244.

As of February 1, 2008, the Pinehurst - Southern Pines Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service carried 51 Active Listings for Horse Farms within Moore County.  Of those listings, 26 were located in Southern Pines while 7 were located in Vass and 6 were located in Carthage.  The others were located in Aberdeen (2), Cameron (1), Foxfire (3), Pinebluff (1), Pinehurst (3), Robbins (1), and Whispering Pines (1).  The price of these Horse Farms ranged from a low of $159,000 to a high of $6,250,000, with the average price equal to $1,163,817  and the median price equal to $785,000.The average number of days these listing were on the market ran 239, while the median number of days ran 185.

The number of condos/townhomes on the active market in Moore County has remained virtually constant over the last four months with 155 on the market as of March 1, 2008 and 156 on the market as of June 1, 2008.  While there were slight variations among the communities within Moore County, the numbers do not carry any numerical significance.

Here are the statistics for the last four months.

The Pinehurst - Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service carried 155 Active Listings for Condos/Townhomes within Moore County as of June 1, 2008.  Of those listings, 77 were located in Pinehurst while 47 were located in Southern Pines.  The others were located in Aberdeen (14), Carthage (5), Foxfire (6), Seven Lakes (2), Whispering Pines (1), and Woodlake (3).

The Pinehurst - Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service carried 161 Active Listings for Condos/Townhomes within Moore County as of May 1, 2008.  Of those listings, 77 were located in Pinehurst while 53 were located in Southern Pines.  The others were located in Aberdeen (15), Carthage (5), Foxfire (4), Seven Lakes (2), Whispering Pines (1), and Woodlake (4).

 This compared to 156 Active Listings for Condos/Townhomes within Moore County as of April 1, 2008.  Of those listings, 73 were located in Pinehurst while 55 were located in Southern Pines.  The others were located in Aberdeen (13), Carthage (5), Foxfire (3), Seven Lakes (2), Whispering Pines (1), and Woodlake (4).

 As of March 1, 2008. the Pinehurst - Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors' Multiple Listing Service carried 156 Active Listings for Condos/Townhomes within Moore County.  Of those listings, 69 were located in Pinehurst while 57 were located in Southern Pines.  The others were located in Aberdeen (15), Carthage (5), Foxfire (3), Seven Lakes (3), Whispering Pines (1), and Woodlake (3).
