This is the third installment about the charming Village of Whispering Pines, North Carolina prepared by resident Betsy N. Robinson of Area Real Estate Partners, Inc. Village of Whispering Pines, North Carolina - 03/24/10 07:58 PM
I love Whispering Pines, North Carolina! I have made this Village my permanent home since 1998, but I was first introduced to it in 1970 when I helped my parents find a building lot for their future retirement home. Like many residents from the Northeast, they were looking for a less harsh climate, and had headed for Florida to see if that was the answer. For them it wasn't, but a spot part way between, the Sandhills of North Carolina, turned out to be the perfect alternative. Four season changes, with only a few below freezing days in January and no more (0 comments)
Septic Systems in Whispering Pines, North Carolina - 03/24/10 06:33 PM

"More golfers are heading to the Sandhills region this year as the industry's peak season arrives", tourism officials said in an article this morning in The Fayetteville Observer. Bookings are up 5.7 percent from last year at several courses according to the Sandhills Golf Association, which represents 14 courses, 10 of which are in Moore County. It is a welcome relief from the poor number of reservations in January and February due both to an unseasonably cold winter as well as the continuing weak economy. But as the days warm up and the green grass sprouts, our area typically (2 comments)
