Hey, Phoenix agents!
Do you have a home builder, condo conversion, or apartment connection? 
I am looking for an "in" to furnish a model home or homes.  I recently went up against Robb & Stuckey for a home staging project at Northshore - a high-end Tempe condo - and came in at 80% below their price!  This $900,000 condo shows so well, the sales staff now shows it as a model!(BTW - the install cost was $22,000 and included accent paints, a 37" LCD TV and 2 26" LCD TVS!)

Hello! 
Back many moons ago when I was an agent, Lowes had a REALTOR benefits program, where you could send collateral for buyers and sellers, as well as a 10% off coupon, personalized with your photo and info, and your clients' info.
Friends of mine just closed on a home in Scottsdale, so I logged in to see if the program was still there.  I can't find it, so if you know where it is, please let me know!

Another lesson from RE BarCamp Phoenix I learned was to get better website recognition, do an automated site map.  I couldn't begin to tell you what that means, but it's important, I am told!
Here is a FREE automated site map link:  gsitecrawler.com.
It somehow magically maps out content on your site, making it easier for googlebots to find you!  (Or something like that...).  You can track your analytics and stuff, too.  It takes just a few minutes, so DO IT!

Good morning!
Still digesting all the incredible knowledge and ideas I soaked up at RE BarCamp Phoenix yesterday, but here's a MAJOR mistake I was making with both my website and blog links - are you doing it, too...?
One of the most simple - yet with a big impact - things I learned is that I am severely messing up my links in blogs and on www.ArgentDecor.com.  I, like many, tend to type, "Click HERE" with the link attached to the "HERE".  The word(s) that you make your link - in the example above, the "HERE" - are called "Anchor … (0 comments)

MARKETING money-saving tip - SAVE on color printing! - 04/22/09 11:23 AM
Good morning!
I just ran a batch of 500 color brochures, front-and-back.  When I initially set out, I was pricing at Staples, Office Max, etc for a quality paper with gloss, printed in color front and back.  I was getting prices of $1.14-$1.18 per side - WHOA!  I then asked how much color copies were.  Almost all the stores right now have $.29 color copies.  If you go to a The UPS Store location, they only offer 1 type of paper for color copies.  I asked if I could bring my own paper - they said "yes".  I also asked if there were … (7 comments)

Green with envy: Urban Home in SoCal is AMAZING! - 04/20/09 11:52 AM
I just returned from LA, and am glad to be free of 2 hour, 15 mile commutes and having to pay to park EVERYWHERE! 
On the other hand, I am *SO* jealous of Southern California for one really big - albeit, dorky - reason:  URBAN HOME!For those outside of SoCal, Urban Home is an amazing home furnishing store.  They have Crate & Barrel/Pottery Barn-esque furnishings and decor, but at IKEA prices!  It's UNBELIEVABLE!  I toured their Sherman Oaks Galleria store, and I was very impressed!  The staff told me they are very popular with Home Stagers....

Busy, busy, busy....
I'm here in LA doing a vacation home furniture install, and waiting for paint to dry.  Literally.
In the meantime, I'm trying to update my website with new photos, since I have new install photos and new vendors to add!
I've partnered up with IMAX Worldwide Imports, and will now be able to offer their home decor and accessories to my clients!  They have some fantastic, high-end "model home"-style pieces, and I look forward to installing them in some vacation homes soon!
