We received our "baby" container - only 20' x 8' x 8' and 9,515lbs of furniture - on Friday! 
 
 
 
 
 
All the pieces are hand-made of solid sheesham wood in India, and shipped over to us.  The quality and beauty is AMAZING!
They are VERY efficient at wrapping the pieces and even more so at packing the container to the roof!  80 pieces journeyed half way around the globe, and not one was damaged....

"The Project" is UNDER CONTRACT! Our fully-furnished home has a buyer! - 09/21/11 01:12 PM
If you've been following my blog, you know that we fully furnished a "Flip" house for my father in San Tan Valley. 
It took a little longer than normal (our average DOM on staged homes is currently 4), but we did receive multiple offers on day 7 on the market!  (Technically, we had offers sooner than that, but they were all RIDICULOUSLY low!). 
We were able to come to an agreement - oddly enough - with the OPPOSITE of our target audience - a local family.  I thought for sure it would sell to a Vacation Home buyer, since the … (8 comments)

"The Project" is complete - home is renovated, staged. Today - 1st day on Market & OPEN HOUSE! - 09/10/11 11:14 AM
I've been blogging about our "Flip" house my father purchased and we've been coordinating renovations and furnishing.  Not "staging" - furnishing.  All the furniture & decor is new, so we can offer it as a turn-key Vacation Home with the furniture available by separate bill of sale.

24 hours.  1440 minutes.  86,400 seconds.  I'm so fried, I'm not even sure I did the math correctly!
We all have the same amount of time per day.  How is it that mine seems to evaporate...?
We have been so busy with renovations on our flip house, 2 new staging projects, and 1 new + 1 new repeat Vacation Home Furnishing client, I don't know which way is up!  I even missed the AR MeetUp for Phoenix on Wednesday - stuck out in Queen Creek pulling staging items from a SOLD listing - and couldn't physically make it back in time....boo!

"The Project" an experiment in Home Staging - approaches D-Day - are we on budget and on time...? - 09/07/11 12:02 PM
I recently posted about a home we took on as a "Flip" property - we are renovating it, and then going to fully furnish it with new furniture, linens, and decor before we re-list it.  The premise is, we can then sell the home fully furnished (or unfurnished - we're not picky!) for Vacation Home Buyers or a local buyer who would like a turn-key home.
