turtles: Wordless Wednesday - I hear you knocking, but you can't come in...! - 05/02/12 05:35 PM

My office is across the hall from our atrium, where we have our turtle pond.  
A few weeks ago, Nathan and the boys went "fishing" in a local pond with a net for minnows for the turtles.  It was murky, and when they emptied the bucket, we were shocked to find a 6" turtle!  About the same size as our others.  We googled and found out he's an African side-necked or mud turtle, and very shy but nice.
While working, I heard some scratching noises coming from the atrium area - turns out, our new guy made it to … (5 comments)
