The World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo - Payson, AZ 85541 - 08/09/08 07:38 PM
On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Payson will host it's 124th continuous rodeo! Opening the festivities is the Rodeo Parade which begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The Parade will begin on Main Street at Green Valley Park and proceed east to the Sawmill Crossing. The Rodeo gates will open at 5 p.m. and the professional rodeo performance will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, August 15. I've lived in the Payson, AZ, area for several years now. Love the hiking and outdoor activities here. Being surrounded with 3.9 million acres of National Forest you had better like it. But I missed the blackberry picking that I used to do on our "back 40" in Northwest Florida where I grew up. Well, I finally hooked up with some ladies in our area who knew where the berries are. So last Saturday we went out, early I might add, and found the best patch of raspberries I have ever seen. Since I was a rookie at picking raspberries the gave (4 comments)

For some time now, I have been becoming aware of just how much the general public (our buyers and sellers) really DO NOT UNDERSTAND about the buying and selling of real estate. I was fortunate enough to work with a very open buyer during the last several weeks. He was a very bright fellow who had recently retired from management in one of the larger utilities in Arizona. He was looking for land to build on. He had been searching for some time, just driving the town and writing down addresses and calling the seller's agent to see the property and ask (0 comments)
