Sellers in Payson, Arizona, please begin your short sale as soon as possible. A recent announcement states that FREDDIE MAC and FANNIE MAE will no longer delay foreclosure dates even when there is a short sale working. It has been their practice in the past to delay the foreclosure date when the seller had an offer on the property and was negotiating a "short sale". This is not good news for those involved on either the buying or selling side.
