These programs are available exclusively through Select Mortgage Banks as determined by TDHCA, to qualify for these programs you must be able to qualify for a regular FHA Mortgage. Home Loan Rates tor Texas Vets The Texas Veterans Land board offers Texas Vets the opportunity for some of the lowest home loan rates available today. Contrary to the name these home mortgage loans can be used to purchase regular everyday family homes in metro areas. In addition, fees are strictly controlled and limited to protect the Veteran. Realtors, to see if you or your clients qualify for this program contact our office and we'll get them pre-approved for the program. Texas Vet Loan rates for a 30-home loan this week are 3.39% (30% VA disabled or more) and 3.89% (non-disabled). (0 comments)
Taking Advantage of our Texas Vets on Home Loans... there ought to be a law... - 10/07/10 11:37 PM
Taking Advantage of Veterans and their Families during the home loan process is just flat wrong on so many levels. I have noticed a drastic increase of lenders that are either inexperienced or deliberately taking advantage of our Vets during the home loan process. I will describe 5 situations that I see on a weekly basis. The situation starts out most frequently like this: Loan Officer says "Mr or Ms Veteran here is your good faith estimate and Truth in lending statement. As you can see the fees are quite low and you can easily qualify for this loan." Veteran (vet) (0 comments)
