As a 203K Consultant in PA, I get asked from clients every now and then "Can I do the work myself?".
Say you are a client looking into getting an FHA 203K loan on a house that you are buying (or already own). Maybe you have a background in carpentry or find you are handy and could save some money by doing the work yourself.
Can it be done? Sure, you can try it but I do NOT recommended it.

Who says you need a Road to take a Road Trip?
My wife and I participated in the 23rd Annual Swatara Sojourn, a canoe trip to clean-up the river.
The Swatara is a river in a State Park in Lebanon County, PA about a half hour from Reading.
Our plan was to help clean-up the Swatara River during this 30 mile canoe trip.

It's Cinco de Mayo and as much as my wife and I love Mexican food, we've never been to a restaurant on Cinco de Mayo until tonight. Some friends invited us out to what we consider the best mexican restaurant in Reading, PA- Alebrije.

I recently attended a Diversified Real Estate Investors (DIG) meeting in Ft Washington, PA and heard Nick Sidoti, "Dr. Cash Flow", from New York was presenting on Real Estate Investing the Right Way by Increasing Your Cash Flow and Decreasing the Hassles.
If you've never heard Nick Sidoti, you must attend one of his presentations. This self-proclaimed "crazy Italian" doesn't disappoint when it comes to entertaining a crowd and keeping you laughing. And if you aren't laughing or responding to his presentation, watch out for his water gun! It was quite a meeting!

Swatara Canoe & Clean-up Trip
Next weekend, May 7 & 8th, my wife and I are participating in the 23rd Annual Swatara Canoe & Clean-up Trip, also known as the Swatara Sojourn. The Swatara is a River located in Lebanon County, PA about half hour from Reading, PA.
We will be helping to clean-up the Swatara River during this 30 mile canoe trip.
What should make things even more interesting is we're bringing our water-loving dog, Buster, with us!
