With much anticipation and excitement, I formally announce the successful closing of my first ActiveRain referral! While many have contacted me through the posts and updates seen here in the 'Rain, late April marks the first closing for a lead offered through another professional via ActiveRain. Aside from their famous 'Topeka' switch in celebration of April Fools Day, Google has added even more pizzazz to their already mega-power search engine capabilities. When Manning & Company is assigned an Asset (to sell) or BPO, we commonly will 'Street View' the home to either map, route or conduct an address verification. While dinking around on Google/Topeka today with street views, I stumbled on a little orange man with glasses on his head embedded in the frame. Clicked it and, whatya know, the world went 3-D. Did you know that today was Texas Independence Day? Texas Independence Day is a legal holiday in the State of Texas that celebrates the adoption of the state’s independence declaration, adopted on March 2nd, 1836.
