Reading clients when they are not clearly communicating is not always easy. And when different vibes (or none at all) are coming from two people, it makes it even harder. Interestingly, very often, those two people do not even know of each other what their thoughts are.

Men often do not say a lot and keep their thoughts to themselves. Women say something and want to be polite. Both is not helpful for a buyer's agent who is on the quest to find the perfect home for them.

Corvallis, OR has a comparably stable real estate market. Our inventory is limited and has always been. Ask somebody who bought a house here in the 70s to 90s and you get this answer a lot: “there was nearly nothing on the market”.
This has not really changed. Shadow Inventory seeping into the market - 03/06/12 08:20 AM
Slowly but surely it comes. Foreclosures in Corvallis, OR have been an intimate affair so far and judging from the NODs (Notice of Default) for the last two years it will stay that way. You read an occasional NOD, but that is it, the rate is minimal compared to what is going on in most other markets, especially locally in Albany, OR.
