After teaching Real Estate classes all weekend I am looking forward to my evening walk to Avonia Beach/Lake Erie just about one & half miles from my home.  If I am lucky the sunset will be just as breath-taking tonight.

Are you serious?  It's 93 million miles away.  
Attend  Noon-Timer Toastmasters meeting to learn how astronomers calculated the exact distance to the sun without actually traveling to the sun by observing Venus transit across the sun + math + more Math.

No matter when or where I wake up I like to start my day with a walk.  There is no better walk than along the waterfront.  The wildlife is often more active during the cooler morning hours.
On my way back to the hotel I missed a photo of fox carrying prey back to his den.  Tomorrow I will have my camera ready . . .

Life is good, so why change? Can't things just stay the same indefinitely?
Patricia's post is excellent post, right up my alley so to speak.  I hate to change or update as it means that I have to learn something new.  I have to get out of my comfort zone.

Cook Forest State Park  is just about 85 miles southeast of Erie as crow flies but it might take you two hours to get there through many small country villages and winding two lanes roads depending on traffic.
Jocob, five years old:  "Are we there yet?"  (I heard that question at least five times in first 30 minutes till we started to play game, 'Can you see . . .' a bird? a cow? a horse? a sign?

See what I found while walking through a parking lot.  One lone flower blooming along side the asphalt and concrete.  Nature's way of taking advantage of what open space is available.
