Who does he think he is?

Well, here's a new one for you.  We staged a couple of rooms for a client.  The living room was full of too much furniture, her early married French Provincial tables plus some beautiful antique pieces she inherited from her mother and grandmother.  We suggested she give away the early married and keep the antiques since she was already using an antique curio cabinet and display shelf for some collectibles.  We updated her sofa with wonderful throw pillows in colors to coordinate-- aqua and lime green and brown. She loved how it looked and so did we.  Then we staged her family room--adding artwork to existing shelves surrounding fireplace, and rearranging furniture away from the walls to center on the fireplace.  When checking in with her the following week, we were told her husband thought the living room looked like an old folks home, and he moved the furniture back against the walls.  The nerve!!!
