      <title>These Dogs need shoes??</title>

      <title>TEXAS Chili Anyone??</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;After years of having no reliable and inexpensive public-transportation way to get from Round rock  to Downtown Austin, and back, The City has finally responded with a new Bus system that will connect Round Rock, to Austin&amp;#39;s Capital Metro lines. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;They plan on actually hiring a private bus company to get it started soon.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; They expect it to have a stop near &lt;a href=&quot;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Round_Rock,_Texas&quot; title=&quot;Downtown Round Rock&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Downtown Round rock&lt;/a&gt;, where people can take the bus to the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.capmetro.org/news/news_detail.asp?id=893&quot; title=&quot;Tech Ridge park and Ride&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Tech Ridge Park and Ride lot&lt;/a&gt;, by I35 and Parmer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Round Rock is growing rapidly, and because of that, there is a need for a lot of people for this type of transportation.       <title>Loving Austin's Landscape</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;As a Chi-town transplant to Austin, I really have a great appreciation of the beauty that is present in this great city of Austin Texas. I kinda like the sound of that :), Austin, Texas is a different animal, and our animal is one that is one that is surviving, while much of the rest of the country, outside of maybe Charlotte, NC are faltering. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We&amp;#39;re not completely immune however, because, we have had a 2% drop in sales this year as compared to last year, but experts say that that&amp;#39;s mainly because of the sub-prime lending saga that&amp;#39;s going on now-a-days, especially for some 1st time homebuyers who have not been able to qualify for conventional loans.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So even though, we&amp;#39;ve had a 2% decline in sales, it kinda was expected;&amp;nbsp; we&amp;#39;re seeing declines in sales of the lower priced homes of 140K and below, but sales are strong in the 500K and 900k ranges....Lol, I guess, so, cause most people buying a 900K home, probably don&amp;#39;t have much trouble qualifying for a loan, if they use one at all.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All in all, I am happy that I&amp;#39;m a Realtor in Austin, and I hope that the rest of the country picks up too.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Round Rock, TX is one of the booming towns in the greater-Austin Area.&amp;nbsp; Most of it&amp;#39;s growth has been and is continually sparked by the influx of Dell Employees, which is the biggest employer in Round rock TX, and one of the top three employers in Austin.&amp;nbsp; There are a number of events and festivities that happen in Round rock all the time these days, but by far one of the cutest events is the Artisan Stroll in historic Downtown Round Rock, right around the corner from the world famous Round Rock donut shop.&amp;nbsp; The stroll is a &lt;strong&gt;free &lt;/strong&gt;family-friendly event, where Artists, musicians and performers come to entertain, and some even sell their products &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Stroll used to happen on every first Thursday of the month, but it has recently moved to &lt;strong&gt;2nd Sundays&lt;/strong&gt; and is still a big hit.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve been a couple of times, and each time, it&amp;#39;s reminded me why I choose to live in Round rock myself.&amp;nbsp; The vendors are friendly, and the people are happy, it&amp;#39;s a great place and time just to take a walk, and meet people. &amp;nbsp; Just one of the other charms about Austin, a city with a down-home feel :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;http://localartmarket.com/ArtisanStroll/&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;According to the Austin Statesman&amp;#39;s Jean Kwon, and just by virtue of visual confirmation after paying attention to the Austin or Central Texas Real Estate Market, it&amp;#39;s not hard to see why Californian natives are migrating to Texas in droves.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The biggest reason is the discrepancy in Prices of property out in California in comparison to property Prices down here in Central Texas.&amp;nbsp; The gap is phenomenal, and you are readily able to see that you can get almost twice the house for about half the price here in Austin, than you can in most, if not all the locales in California.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Other Reasons include &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Similar climate, it&amp;#39;s hot there, and it&amp;#39;s hot here too :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Natural beauty of the Central Texas Area, the Hill country is breathtaking to see, and live in&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The cultural Diversity, Austin&amp;#39;s moto is &amp;quot;Keep Austin Weird&amp;quot; and basically what that tells you is that Austin has all kinds of people, the young, the older, the Artistic types, and Texas&amp;#39; version of silicone valley (Austin is a Big Tech-city).&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Less than 20% of Californian&amp;#39;s&amp;nbsp; can actually afford to buy a home out there; as compared to 50% of the rest of the country&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;According to the Department of finance, California is actually loosing more people than it is gaining, for the first time in almost 10 years; mainly because the owning a home is a dream that a lot of them will not be able to see if they stay there, or if they move there.&amp;nbsp; Markets like Austin, Texas are very inviting to people who are looking to get more for their money in terms of housing.&amp;nbsp; And because of that people and especially Californians are moving here in droves, they can come here and build mansions where that same money could barely get them a 2000sqft home in Cali.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Austin&amp;#39;s a great place to be, and speaking from the perspective of a person who migrated here, herself from Chicago, I can tell you that it is worth it; because of it&amp;#39;s charms, climate, scenery, and tech&amp;nbsp; jobs, of course, but mostly if you want to own a home. :)&lt;/p&gt;</description>
