At noon on Thursday, Oct. 23, the Auburn University Chamber Choir will perform a free concert at Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, Auburn University as a part of the museum’s weekly series, “A Little Lunch Music.” The Auburn University Chamber Choir is a select group of singers founded in 2008 and conducted by Dr. William Powell, director of Choral Activities. You don't want to miss the Christmas Tour of homes in Auburn, Alabama. This year the Auburn University President's home and the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts will be on this year's annual Loveliest Village Christmas Tour of Homes sponsored by the Auburn Preservation League. The tour is Saturday, Dec. 13, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 14, 1-4 p.m. Tickets for the tour are $20 and are available at the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Behind the Glass and Auburn Hardware. Just wanted to share the following information with parents of school aged children. The Jule Collins Smith Museum offers tours for school groups. For those interested, please email the museum at JCSMtours@auburn.edu or call the tour scheduler at (334) 844-3486. I have taken my daughter to as many events with the museum as I could aattend and they are always fun and educational. They really do a great job with the programs they offer and it is definately worth participating in. Other fun events are the annual birthday party and the May Day program.
