“Moe’s Original BBQ in Auburn, AL was founded by Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilber, and Jeff Kennedy. In 1988, Mike hooked up with Moses Day in Tuscaloosa and began learning to fire roast meats. When Moses fired up his backyard barrel pit, everyone in T-Town knew where to go. The boys were lucky to learn from Moses and his distinct style makes up Moe’s original flavor of BBQ. Moe’s Original BBQ smokes all meats fresh daily. Unlike other BBQ joints, they don’t stop there. They prepare eight to ten Southern style side dishes and desserts everyday with recipes passed down for generations.

A new park was announced at a recent Auburn City Council meeting. Ann Pearson Park in Auburn will be the first park on the north side of town, and the project is set to move fast!
The park is named after Ann Pearson, an Auburn philanthropist and historic preservationist, the park not only honors her in name but also encompasses the Ann Pearson estate. Owned by Auburn University Real Estate Foundation Inc., the 47-acre estate is overseen by the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust.
