The City of Atlanta is offering free tax preparation if you make under $39,000 per year.  For more information you can go to http://www.atlantaworkforce.org/.  Certified tax preparers will be preparing and electronically filing returns for free at the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency (AWDA).  There are two Saturday sessions scheduled March 10, 2007 and March 24, 2007.   On March 24, 2007 a fair will also be provide information on financial awareness programs for first time homebuyers and  financial products offered by local banks and credit unions.  Feel free to bring the kids, activities will be provided for children with their parents.

Today I just wanted to scream!  It seems like the two closings  I had scheduled to close this week were going to fall apart.  This was not good, with both transactions scheduled I have worked extremely to find these 1st time buyers the right home. 
The first transaction was for a buyer client who was originally scheduled to close on Friday.  On Thursday I called to confirm that the package was being sent to the closing attorney, only to find out the day before closing the loan officer decided that my buyer needed a Home-buyer class.  The next class would be Saturday, this was not good.  My … (2 comments)

I notice that as Buyers you do a lot of driving just checking out new subdivisions, and you often go into these new subdivisions and take a look.  Many times you fall in love in the model homes and before you know, you make a decision to buy.  Curiosity gets the best of you and there you are getting pre-approved for a loan with no representation.

About two months, I received my first lead from the web.  I received an email from my website showing that someone logged and did some property searches and included their information.  This was a couple of days after I posted a comment on an investment forum.  I was very excited receiving this lead, but I was skeptical all at the same time.

I would like to share some of the events occurring in my community for the month of February. 
On February 3, 2007 a new 31,040-square-foot Aquatic Center opened in Bethesda Park.  This includes a nearly 7,000-square-foot indoor leisure pool with zero-entry beach-style access.  This facility is available for rent Friday through Sunday after normal operating hours.
  
On February 10th Centerville County Center will host a Black History Celebration.  A musical event celebrating people and heritage: Black History Month on Saturday, February 10, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

My First Active Rain Consumer Lead - 02/04/07 04:49 PM
I received my first AR consumer lead on Friday.  Needless to say I was very excited.  I received an email that said "call me, I need help with a purchase for new construction", but there was no phone number attached.
I then emailed her and requested that she give me a call, well Saturday goes by with no call, and then Sunday morning I receive another email.  This email said "call me" it had a phone number, the name of the person sending the email and the phone number again.

INDECISIVE, KNOW WHEN TO LET GO - 02/03/07 05:26 PM
I am a very patient person and I will do all I can to help, but I don't like having my time wasted.  A year ago, I had a client like no other and I have learned a lesson from this client.
