Derek Fisher is reuniting with Kobe Bryant for the upcoming NBA basketball season.
He is returning to Los Angeles Lakers to be closer to medical facilities that have the neccessary medical technology to help his one year old daughter cope with a rare form of cancer in her left eye --called retinoblastoma.
The powers to be at the NBA and Fisher's former team the Utah Jazz worked out a deal to make it a win- win for all parties.
We should take note b/c sometimes its not about the $$$$$$$ !

Open House "FOOD DRIVE"! - 08/08/07 11:27 AM

The food was donated to the local food pantry -- they need our help during the summer when their stock runs … (12 comments)

Humorous convo - 08/07/07 10:36 PM
The wife and I arrive home after seeing the movie (Bourne Ultimatum) and I was changing from my long pants into my shorts to lounge around the house.
Conversation goes like this:
Aziz:    These shorts must have shrunk after this last wash and dry cycle
Wife:   I don’t think so
Aziz:    Well what happened?
Wife: Duh, you’ve gained some weight! You're getting bigger.
Aziz:     hmmmm… that thought never even crossed my mind (laughter at self)
It was a wake up call for me
