Education
Big Thumbs Down to were U.S. School Education is Headed New Hampshire, folks we need to take the time to look into where the Education of our kids is headed. The kids of our Great Country need to also have sports in the School which they are attending.

Learning about that the U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan made the stand to have Schools replacing their traditional textbooks with even more Digital Devices in the next few years. I just don't understand how think the Schools are able to afford making this change, when so many School Districts are making Schools cut their Sports Programs and other programs, because they say that they can't afford spending the money for those programs.
Big Thumbs Down to were U.S. School Education is Headed New Hampshire, Sports program help to teach kids fair play, responsibility and how to work as a team. But how do those folks that are for the Digital Devices taking the place of textbooks propose that we humble Taxpayers to flip the bill for those mighty pricey Digital Devices any how?

This here sure is yet another fine example of a bureaucracy out of touch with mainstream America. It sure does seem that those folks in Washington seem to think that us Taxpayers all have money trees in our back yards to pull money from. Plus this really make me wonder if this is the reason that Fall Mountain High School just lost their Football Program and just received some Digital Devices.

The program will begin at 7:00 P.M. The story which will be told, will be of the men which Served in the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division in World War II. The History of the men and this mighty fine Army Division will be told by Veteran Member Newcomb Eldredge.

Army Ski History Program going to be held in Newport New Hampshire which is part of Sullivan County New Hampshire, Mr. Eldredge's presentation will include the History of the 10th Division, storytelling, humor, there will be a short movie, and a slide show will be shown, plus there will be a expanded display of many artifacts, which will include Medals, Clothing and Mountain Gear that was used by the 10th Mountain Division during World War II.

This here program is appropriate for Kids in the Fourth Grade all the way to Adults. This here mighty fine program is sponsored by the Newport Historical Society.
Army Ski History Program going to be held in Newport New Hampshire which is part of Sullivan County New Hampshire,During World War II, the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division served in combat for only four months, but it had one of the conflict's highest casualty rates. This here division started out as an experiment to train skiers and climbers to fight in the most difficult, mountainous terrain in Europe. There were some of the men which joined the division were skiers already, while others had never seen a ski in their lives. Their training at Camp Hale, near Pando, Colo., included skiing, snowshoeing and rock climbing. They also learned cold-weather survival tactics, such as keeping warm by building snow caves.

The men of the 10th Mountain Division lived in the mountains for weeks, working in altitudes of up to 13,500 feet, in five to six feet of snow and in temperatures that dropped to 20 degrees below zero at night. At the end of 1944, the 10th Division was finally deployed and began the first of a series of daring assaults against the German army in the Northern Apennine Mountains of Italy. Mount Belvedere was the highest mountain in the Apennines, and the Germans had stymied the U.S. Army there for nearly six months. On Feb. 18, 1945, the 10th Division took Riva Ridge, to prevent the Germans from being able to survey U.S. positions below, in a nighttime operation.

Army Ski History Program going to be held in Newport New Hampshire which is part of Sullivan County New Hampshire, the steep mountain was covered in snow and ice. At night, the Germans did not bother with guard patrols, because the conditions were so difficult that they did not believe any American unit could climb the ridge day or night. But the Germans were wrong, and the soldiers of the men of the 10th Division climbed, silently, to the top and secured Riva Ridge with minimal casualties. The next day's operation, the assault on Mount Belvedere, would prove to be very different. The American Soldiers did ended up being victorious, but not without a price: Nearly 1,000 of the 13,000 soldiers in the 10th Division died.

Bigfoot have Folks seen You in the State of New Hampshire, its sure been said that the Pacific Northwest is not at all alone as a sighing hot spot for Bigfoot. In the areas around Sandwich Mount Israel and Sandwich Dome. Folks have actually been making reports since back in the 1940's about seeing Bigfoot, plus they have actually even been backed up with three foot lone footprints, just like other Bigfoot tracks which have been found and been recorded. The footprints were found in mud alongside the road.

There have been recent reports from folks which are on file with the New Hampshire Division of State Police, all the folks have describe Bigfoot as being a fur covered creature which was about 8 foot tall. Plus all the folks actually agreed when they made their reports, no matter how startled and alarmed they might have been, that Bigfoot sure did also seem just as frightened of them, and ran off into the woods immediately in order to get away from them.
