New Hampshire Carbon Monoxide Detectors Legislative Update, Baker Home Energy Audit and Commercial Properties Inspections wants the residences of New Hampshire to know, as of 1 January 2010, New Hampshire Legislative made it Mandatory, for rentals and new single family homes are required to have carbon monoxide detectors.
Every rental unit must be equipped with at least one automatic fire warning device (smoke detector) and at least one carbon monoxide detection device (RSA 153:10-a). To be either hardwired or battery operated devices are permitted.

First Time Home Buyer Wintertime and Carpenter Ants, there are several species of carpenter ants that can be found infesting a home and other buildings on realestate properties. Usual workers are black or red and black in color and they range from 3/8 to 1/2 inch in size. A winged queen ant can be as large as one inch. Size is not a reliable characteristic to identify carpenter ants. Theres one species of workers that are no larger than 3/16 inch.
