Smoke Poles come in many Different Kinds and Sizes Part Four, in part five of this five part series, I talked about and showed you one of my 1700's smoke pole single shot pistols, which was a 1700's reproduction of a German Dragoon. I've been a shooter of smoke poles, for many many moons now. I sure do enjoy shooting and hunting with the old style Muzzleloader smoke poles. There's just ain't anything like it, and it sure does not get any better than hunting as our forefathers did.

Smoke Poles come in many Different Kinds and Sizes Part Five, have you even a smoke pole utilized? I'll be showing you a few smoke poles in this five part series. I sure do love and enjoy smoke poles!

The first one I'll be sharing with you, is one of my signal shot muzzlelader pistols. This one is a 1760's German Dragoon Flintlock Pistol. It has a 14" barrel, its over all length is 22 1/2 inches, its a 62 cal. smoothbore. The barrel has a bright polished finish. Charlestown, New Hampshire's First Name was Number4 in the 1700's - Part Four, being a interpreter and re-enactor at our Fort at No.4 here in Charlestown, New Hampshire. I thought I'd share with you the Do's and Don'ts of Muzzleloading Safety. The kind of shoulder arms you'll see being carried by the re-enactors and interpreters at the Fort at No.4 when you visit, are flintlock smoothbore muskets.
