You just might be think, way in the world is this guy talking about heating and winter in July. Well I'm doing so, because winter really is not all that far off. By turning down your thermostat, you can save two to three percent in home energy costs for every degree you lower the thermostat around the clock in the winter time.

Winters sure can be mighty Cold and staying warm New Hampshire, the photos that I took and added in this here blog posts, were taken in December of 2009. The first photo is part of the Connecticut River off of the Springfield, Vermont boat landing, where folks go to do some ice fishing. The second photo is of the bridge that goes over the Connecticut River between Charlestown, New Hampshire and Springfield, Vermont.
