Theres not a catch pan and no drain installed. I recommend that you have a qualified plumber install a catch pan and drain to prevent water damage to the finished interior areas below the tank if and when it might develop a leak or it is drained.

Vermont Home Buyer Hot Water Tank Inspection Series Part Three of Three, on this inspection when it came time to take a look at the Hot Water Tank, I also found that the temperature pressure relief valve drain line was routed where it only drained into the home's Crawl Space.
The water will start accumulating in the crawl space, if the valve would start leaking. I recommend that you have a qualified plumber re-route the drain line so it drains outside away from the foundation of the home.
