music: My Christmas Wish MeMe, Now You're tagged! - 12/06/08 08:45 PM

Tonight, I finally have a moment to respond to Amy's Christmas wish MeMe. I had to spend some serious time thinking about this one. It would be so easy to let my wish list turn into a 'poor ole me' wish list. I could wish for all the things I would like to change about my life these days, and I could wish for different circumstances, better fortune, improved health for my parents...well, you get the picture. As Amy says, everybody wants world peace and all that would bring, so I've struggled to come up with something else.

music: What a week so far! - 12/02/08 10:06 PM

Sunday was the first week of Advent and what is the beginning of the busiest time of year for church soloists. Yes, I sang in church this past Sunday morning and I will sing again tomorrow at our mid-week Advent service at noon. Hooray! I get to(note I did not say 'have to') one of the contralto solos from Handel's Messiah. Great music for anyone's soul!
Monday, was just another crazy day in paradise(at the beach). Put up the office Christmas tree-that is the broker in charge's job, right? That's OK. It's up. It looks good. Completed the bank run - … (5 comments)
