The Monroe CT real estate market report for September 2012 showed some strong averages but sales were off as compared to September 2011 and the previous month.  
Sales were down 21% from the same period last year.  However, average list and closing prices went UP 9% and 12% respectively with a shorter average time on the market...  88 days .....  a 27% decrease from September 2011.

While Monroe CT had a less than stellar August 2012 market report as compared to August 2011, there is some good news.  Sales were UP 21% from the July numbers and registered as the highest sales month since September 2011.   See annual chart below.
Compared to the same period last year. August 2012 sales were down 10% and list and sales price averages decreased significantly at 19% and 18% respectively.

What's UP with the Monroe CT July 2012 market report?  Well, sit back and read the good news.  
Compared to the same period last year. sales were UP 17% compared to July 2011 sales and list and sales price averages INCREASED significantly at 16% and 18% respectively.  Days on the market average went down slightly at 8%

Monroe CT Real Estate Market Report June 2012

The June 2012 Monroe, Connecticut market report had its ups and downs.  Compared to the same period last year. sales were off by three sales BUT list and sales prices INCREASED significantly at 18% and 17% respectively.  Days on the market average remained flat at a 2% increase.

May 2012 was a GREAT month in the Monroe CT real estate market.  Closed sales for May 2012 WENT UP 36% compared to May 2011 sales. 
List and sales prices INCREASED 20% and 22% from May 2011 averages, and average days on the market went down 4%.

Monroe CT Real Estate Market Report April 2012

Monroe CT real estate sales for April 2012 WENT UP 50% compared to April 2011 sales and were up 15% from last month.
List and sales prices decreased 22% and 21% from April 2011, but homes were selling a bit more quickly with a 34% decrease in market time.
