Home for the Holidays -- It Gets Better Each Year
The pre-Christmas hustle and bustle last week was probably the most intense I had ever experienced. Having to plan, shop for, cook for, and just generally prepare for a large Christmas Eve party is really enough for anyone.

(I wrote this in December 2009. I love this story. It's MY story. As Christmas Eve 2010 approaches and we prepare for our party with family and friends, I always think of when we found our house and the warm, homey feel it still has over 25 years later.)

Shelton CT Single Family Market Report for October 2009
Take a look at what happened in the single family real estate market in Shelton Connecticut for the month of October, 2009, as compared to the same time last year.
MLS data shows Shelton single family home sales in October were down 15% from October 2008. Average list and selling prices were down 5.9% and 6.7% respectively. Average days on the market increased 11%.
