There are only a few Active Adult communities in the Raleigh / Cary area, and Heritage Pines is my favorite!  It is a smaller neighborhood of about 300 homes located in West Cary.   Although the neighborhood has many nice amenities, the welcoming residents s are definitely its best feature!

Cary Real Estate: Another New School for Cary Park and West Cary - 09/11/10 10:45 PM
Cary Park, a newer neighborhood in West Cary feeds into another brand new school, Mills Park Middle School.  The school is part of a 35 - acre site adjacent to Mills Park Elementary.  Both schools are on the traditional calendar, beginning school at the end of summer in August, and ending in June.  This schedule is the same as Panther Creek High School, another top rated school which many families also attend.  The enrollment of Mills Park Middle is expected to be just over 1000 students, attending 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  Each grade occupies a different floor of the school.  … (1 comments)
