Dear Mr. Seller, I TRIED to Help You, but ... - 09/17/09 09:55 PM
Maureen Bray, Home Stager Portland OR, shared an interesting blog today. An imaginary letter to a seller about a property in need for staging, a proposal made, not used, a property sitting on the market and ending up with a FOR RENT sign after a 50K price reduction...
I thought it is worth to share this blog to get some additional opinion's and feedback. I would be interested to learn some out of the box thinking to overcome some of the barriers of writing a check for staging, specifically if it is needed, and I am not talking about a seller … (6 comments)

I Love Craftman Style - Staging Project - 09/17/09 04:22 PM

Ok, we all have our preferences, every Designer has his/her particular style, something signing every project like a signature on a painting.
I admit, I love to work with "young or young at heart professionals", I love open floor plans and a more modern, but cosy admbiente, In Re-Design projects I love to mix old and new and I love to work with natural pieces, like sticks.
Little things can make a big difference. A customers smile combined with an appreciation email is such a great Thank you!

Get featured - Using PR to get recognized - 09/15/09 08:11 PM
Being an alien has its advantages. After I decided to call Atlanta my home I started to get involved with the German School, German Consulate and Goethe Institute to stay connected with my roots.
A couple of month ago the German Consular threw a party at his residence in honor of the opening of the US office of Nurnberg Messe. I am a true believer in networking, introducing, connecting, welcoming and sharing with others, I guess that’s why people like to invite me :-). I introduced myself to a group of journalists, one was from my hometown and we even … (13 comments)

Freeze in the Middle of Summer - 09/01/09 07:32 AM
It’s been cold out there this summer and investors have been frozen out of the market. That right, lenders have been giving real estate investors the cold shoulder. The fear that gripped the banking industry two years ago has begun to thaw a little but now instead of sub-zero the thermometer is reading just around freezing. Many lending problems have hit the real estate investor community. From the loss of Stated Income loans to only being aloud to have up to four financed properties, the investor has been frozen in place.
Now, just as the S&P | Case Shiller report shows … (0 comments)
