No Internet, No phone - Help! An unplanned true vacation - 07/28/10 10:44 AM
We just returned from a hidden treasure in the North Georgia Mountains. My husband did all the planning searching for a perfect retreat away from all hectic and stress in the mountains. He did an excellent job, a nice cottage directly on the Lake....

.. my biggest surprise however was the discovery that there was no phone or any Internet connection. After a first short panic attack, I fully bought into my destiny of a true family vacation.
No phone, TV, computer... allowed on site
Lake Russel is truly hidden spot and an excellent retreat to recharge batteries....

Every summer we are visiting HOME, that is my treat going back to my roots getting together with family and friends. My parents live in the city and during our 3 week stay I did only drive 4 times. I absolutely love it it and my son loves it too, specifically riding the "Strassenbahn".

... came true today Germany wins and will be # 3 in this years FIFA Worldcup. What an exciting Game until the last minute. Pau's predictions for the final Game: Spain....

I admit, I am not really a soccer fan, but every 4th Year, at the FIFA Worldcup, I turn into one for the time being. The German-American Chamber has just send out this invitation. So for all Atlanta Soccer fan's interested in the Game Germany vs Spain tomorrow, you can experience some of the Soccer Euphoria at Ormsby's.

Over the last several weeks I had the wonderful opportunity to attend one of the BOLD Real Estate Sales classes. Even so I am not a Realtor, my Atlanta Staging Business will profit from the wealth of information, tools and processes shared during this 7 week venture.
One special video, has been very touching for me, and being a Mom of a 6 year old little boy whoith a lot of fantasy and inspiration, made me realize that sometimes it is important to be quite and supportive, even if it seems sooo far off at that point in time....
