This is in honor of National Recreation and Parks Month.

St. Johns is located in St. Johns County in northeast Florida. It was one of only two places in Florida to make Forbes/GreatSchools list.
GreatSchools combined two databases that calibrate the results of varying state tests by national standards to come up with an absolute score for each city. It then graded them on a curve with the highest-ranking district, Falmouth, representing 100. By cutting the list by median home prices they came up with an overall ranking.

This is a very big weekend in Ponte Vedra with THE PLAYERS Championship Tournament. We plan on going on Sunday. It is always an enjoyable event. It is called THE PLAYERS, but old habits die hard and most of us locals still call it the TPC---sorry PGA Tour.
But look at all the other fun things to do this weekend in the St. Augustine area. One can easily see why visiting here is fun, but if you are going to Move to Florida, you need to look at the St. Augustine area.

The Gamble Rogers Folk Festival will be held at various locations in St. Augustine, Florida this weekend, April 29th - May 1, 2011.
Two of my favorite musicians will be performing, David Wilcox and native St. Augustinian, Sam Pacetti. David Wilcox will only be performing on Saturday afternoon, but Sam Pacetti will be performing Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. The Morse Family Band featuring relatives of my dentist will be performing Saturday from 11-11:50 a.m. The complete schedule is below.
Sam Pacetti is also doing the soundtrack for the soon to be released A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway video.
