If any on you have been following my Phippsburg Community Profile Series, then you're aware that I've been giving tips on the best places to eat, spend the night, avoid the beach crowds, etc. These are insider tips...places the crowds have not located yet...a gift to My Active Rain friends. You'll see a lot of things while driving down the Phippsburg peninsula...Eagles and Ospreyskimming the water, seals playing in the waves, lobstermen hauling their traps, and fisherman telling tall tales over coffee of the one that got away. What you won't see are McDonald's, Burger King, or any type of fast food franchise. People often ask me "Where can we eat?". It is a little known fact that Phippsburg actually has some of the best restaurants in MidCoast Maine! So get comfortable...food is my favorite topic!
