For many years the Pilgrim Inn was a landmark in the heart of Brecksville, but has been defunct for quite some time. As it happens, it is located on the same grounds as our beautiful office of ReMax Trinity.In November, Brecksville residents voted for a rezoning of the property that would allow a skilled nursing/rehabilitation facility to be built in place of the Pilgrim Inn. If this were to happen, it would be so wonderful for those who have been lifelong residents of Brecksville and surrounding communities to be able to go here for rehab. To aid those who are unemployed, the CVCC is offering a series of free workshops, scheduled over a 6 month period of time. It's not uncommon where I live to come home and see anywhere from 2-10 deer in my front yard. My daughter and I were coming home late one evening and saw two prancing about on someone's front lawn after a fresh snowfall. Only 1 would cooperate for this picture. They have often visited me right at my front door.
These trees are both in my front yard and we had gotten about 6-8inches of snow. It came so quickly that I didn't have time to replace my scarecrow with my snowman!

When I began my real estate career in 1986, I was with a national brokerage. My husband and I moved to another town and I joined a very large, but not national brokerage in the area. That company always ranked either first or second in our market. After 5 years there, I joined a very small brokerage (average number of agents was FOUR) and stayed there for 10 years. I joined them for a new construction opportunity which ended up being modest, at best.

As evidenced above there was a decline in the AVERAGE selling price for each community except Independence. Following are the AVERAGE percentages of decline.

The city of Brecksville Ohio offers something for everyone! This lovely gazebo is located in the center of town and in the summer it's the site of Brecksville Home Days where kids and adults alike can enjoy great food, music, rides, and games.
Hiking trails abound in the park system that surrounds Brecksville and in the summer you'll find families making good use of the grills and picnic tables. Sleepy Hollow golf couse is nearby as well.
