The market remained challenging in the 2nd quarter of 2011. I have been extremely busy, with buyers buying and offers on my listings but I do not see any real upward trend in pricing. In the past several market reports I have posted I have said that pricing is key and that is still true. But a close second to pricing when it comes to getting offers on your home is condition. MacIntosh Farms Broadview Heights Ohio First Quarter Market Report 2011
My personal opinion is that the market has not been as robust as last year when we had the tax credit as an incentive but I do now see the market picking up a bit. Interest rates remain very attractive, and there are many homes to choose from, making it a great time to buy a home. For many sellers it remains a challenge to sell as prices are not rebounding much and in some areas still declining. Pricing is key going into second quarter.
