I am very pleased to announce that with the encouragement and support of Barb Schwarz, President and Founder of IAHSP, I am starting the Fort Worth IAHSP Regional Chapter (FWIRC).

As 2007 President of the Dallas IAHSP Regional Chapter, I've been able to share the importance of creating a fostering environment for Staging Professionals where each can learn from others' experiences and grow our businesses and the recognition of Staging throughout the industry.  During my tenure as President, I've witnessed the Dallas Chapter grow from 6 members almost 40 in one year!  It is my pleasure and joy to spearhead the Fort Worth Regional Chapter for the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.  I look forward to bringing together the community of Stagers in the area and growing awareness of our fabulous industry.

In adhering to the mission of IAHSP, the goals of our chapter will be to: 

• Enhance professional ASP and ASPM excellence.  
• Facilitate business development opportunities. 
• Foster Community where our members live and work. 
• Increase the ASP/ASPM & IAHSP brand identity in the industry.

Staging is making news as you all know. We have a wonderful opportunity to grow our businesses with the support of Barb Schwarz, and IAHSP.   We have a new member's forum that has been developed for us and as a chapter we will have a separate website address to market our talented ASPs and ASPMs!   We also aim to build a chapter, rich in camaraderie and professionalism. We can all learn something from each other and sharing our strengths will only bring positive rewards to the building of the IAHSP brand, which will benefit us individually as well as collectively.

Please join us for our first meeting on Tuesday, January 22^nd at 10.00 a.m. at La Madeliene on Camp Bowie. This first meeting will give us the opportunity to get to know one another and to discuss how we will proceed with the growth of our chapter.   At this first meeting, we will elect our official Chapter Board consisting of ASP Volunteers.

To attend this meeting you will have to be an ASP Realtor, ASP Stager or ASPM in good standing or want to join us as a Business Affiliate. To join our chapter you will have to be a member of the IAHSP and annual dues for IAHSP are $150.00 (payable through StagedHomes.com).   Our local dues are $50.00.  Business Affiliate dues are $150.00 per year.  ASP's who join in the first 6 months of our chapter inception will be considered Charter Members!

I have wonderful news to share!  WRE Interiors is featured in the May issue of Money magazine. 

I was contacted by Donna Rosato, a writer at Money magazine, in late February to help a family in need in Georgetown, Texas (a suburb north of Austin).  They had been on the market for 6 months and desperately needed help.  Money was profiling four families across the United States for the May issue, 2 of which would be profiled in the magazine and the other 2 would be profiled on line.  All of the families were having issues with selling their homes, so Donna called ASP Stagers to come in for the rescue!  

As it turned out, the Georgetown family was one of the two chosen to be profiled in the magazine!!!  My company, WRE Interiors, collaborated with 2 other ASP^TM Stagers on this project and we came up with a winning solution.  Evie Boston (ASP^TM in Plano, TX) and I teamed with Becki Gregg (owner of Home Girl Staging) and Vicki Sneed (owner of Hot on Staging), both ASP^TM's in the Austin area. 

The article is in the May issue of Money.

The great news is that the home SOLD 2 weeks after it was Staged®!!!!  And the most fantastic news is that it SOLD before the article went to press and we have their happy ending published for the whole world to read!  STAGING WORKS!!!!

We, ALL, were so pleased with this fairy tale ending for this very deserving family!
