Where Did The Shadow Go? Only The Shadow Knows! Back in September we posted that we did not think the shadow inventory threat was as bad as many were predicting. Only The Shadow Knows! Now there is further confirmation from CoreLogic. Shadow inventory threat wanes "WASHINGTON – Jan. 8, 2013 – The number of homes in “shadow inventory” dropped from 2.6 million in October 2011 to 2.3 million in October 2012, according to a new report from CoreLogic." The Shadow Knows!

Only The Shadow Knows! We keep hearing about this huge "shadow inventory" of foreclosures. Some pundits keep predicting another plunge in real estate prices when the banks "dump" this inventory.So it it real?When will it come?The Shadow Knows!
Seriously, we believe the banks are now smarter and will release only on a measured basis. We have been saying that for almost 1 year and our foreclosure inventory in Ocala & Marion County has held steady during this whole time.Now here comes some expert opinions to back us up.
