Cape Charles is a quaint town in Northampton County on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The town has beach front on the Chesapeake Bay and normally enjoys lovely breezes off the bay. I've been doing a bit of research lately. I'm an avid trail rider and I travel all over the state of Virginia with my horse. Other parts of our lovely state offer multi-use trails that include equestrian use and the areas that offer this type of recreation have seen the increase in not only tourism but also in the economic development opportunity that it adds to their area. Business owners are attracted to areas that offer multi-use trails because it gives their employees a recreational activity before, during and after work at no cost to the employer.
