San Francisco is so much fun to just fly in, drive around the city of just go on foot and use public transportation. Didn't make it to Fisherman's Wharf but next time.
We drove to Napa and that is where we had the wine in the picture. A cafe had fabulous food and this hamburger was humongous. Thanks for Reading my Blog! (4 comments)
San Bernardino County San Gorgonio Search and Rescue is having its 10th annual golf tournament to remember two of their members who lost their lives while driving to a search in Joshua Tree. Phil Calvert of Redlands and Scott Johnson of Mentone were both lost their lives in a crash in 2004.
The event is scheduled Saturday Oct. 26, 2013 at Calimesa Country Club. Registration will open at 11 a.m. and tee off begins at 12:30 p.m. An awards banquet is scheduled at 5:30 p.m.
I am fascinated by older homes and barns. We do not have many vintage properties in the city but I have taken a few pictures to share. This tree has a families of hawks and squirrels.
Loma Linda is a small community and very progressive but has hills, parks and rural roads to enjoy the beauty of wildlife and nature.
There was a house attached to this barn but has been torn down (12 comments)
I thought since Memorial Day is upon us and all of the states are involved in the “Presidential Election” since January and through June, that I would do a Wednesday Wordle of the USA. I believe we live in a great country and have so many freedoms to be grateful for.

Did You Ever Have a Seller that was hard to Say Good-Bye to?
I recently sold a house and the seller has moved out of state to be with her family.
It was a perfect transaction; house sold within 7 days and we got better than asking price. We closed on the 30th day. This was almost a perfect textbook transaction. Everyone was happy when it closed; agents, seller and buyer. What could be better?
But….I miss my seller. She was one of the loveliest clients I have ever had. Right from day 1, she (12 comments)

Frankly I had never heard of this word or theory before. Weltanschauung pronounced “welt·an·schau·ung”. Webster dictionary defines this term as “World view; philosophy of life; a framework through which to interpret the world”. Additionally, it refers to the framework of ideas and beliefs through which an individual, group or culture interprets the world and interacts with it. After reading this I thought to myself ”Oh yes, this is what ActiveRain is all about”.

Every morning I look out my office window on the 2nd floor in Loma Linda, CA and observe the big tree across the street. The birds love to land on the branches and it is so much easier to see them in the winter when the limbs are bare.
Now that the limbs are sprouting their green foliage, it is a more colorful time of the year but of course it is harder to see my little friends hiding in the greenery.
I drive by this stable in Redlands, CA daily and typically I can never pull over and take any pictures but yesterday I had my chance. With camera in hand, I took them as they were walking around eating.
In the south end of Redlands, there are large horse properties and small stables like this one.
This stable reminds me of time forgotten with fields of flowers, wooden/chain link fences and powers lines above ground.
It is such a pretty area to drive through. If you go further south, you will see huge horse (4 comments)
