Today, Disneyland Resort in Orlando, California Adventure and Disneyland Park in California are all three open for 24 hours. It started this morning,  May 24, 2013 at 6:00 am and goes until tomorrow morning at 6:00 am. Here is Mickey Mouse dressed for the big event.

This is the million dollar question and I get a lot of calls from buyers asking me what I think and do I think the prices are going up now. “Yes” I tell them since prices have increased in the past 6 months. Do I think it is a good time to buy? “Definitely” I tell them as if the prices continue to go up as we all predict, the buyers will pay more for the same home later. As Realtors, we all have our personal preferences regarding ‘Open Houses’ and sometimes they work for one property and not for another. One open house can get 25 visitors and another maybe 3. So go figure……is it the weather, the date, or just luck? Or maybe it has to do with advertising the event?
Location- It depends on what type of location the house is in whether you have a good turnout or not.

I have about 3 or 4 species of hummingbirds in my yard but mainly see the Anna's Hummingbird. Costa's Hummingbird has a beautiful purple iridescent head and sides. Such a regal looking bird watching over my yard. He has a shorter neck and stockier build.

Summer is almost here and kids are going to be out of school soon. Here is one of my favorite places to visit that are nearby, reasonably priced and just a great time for families to go and have some “Kodak Moments”.
 
 For the little ones, they have Camp Snoopy which has many smaller activities and a petting zoo area.
 
The Bear-y Tales event, ride the Knott's Railroad around the park, the amusement Park with many roller coaster rides and try out the new Boardwalk 2013.

While getting out of my car at CVS, this duck had cornered a man at his car and stood there talking to him. The man asked me if I had any food but I didn’t. I could tell this duck wasn’t going anywhere until he got some snacks.
 
 
Wildlife is so cute and I always wonder how and why they showed up in the strangest places. It has been several days and I am still worrying over the duck in the parking lot and hope he didn’t get hit.
