Earlier this week, a Nashville Realtor found explosives inside her vacant listing. She had listed the home over a year ago after the owner died and it had been on the market since. She had made an appointment to show the home and arrived a little early and was straightening up when she opened up a cubby and saw what looked like explosives.
The Realtor immediately call 9-1-1 and the Bomb Squad arrived, evacuated the neighborhood and carefully removed all the explosives. Apparently the deceased owner may have brought t (20 comments)
Social Media has a new role-The Public's Eyes & Ears for News Events
A week ago, a highly respected marathon in Boston, Mass. turned into one of the most catastrophic events in US history. People were confused, lost, injured, separated from others, and social media proved to be a big help.
Google, Facebook and Twitter immediately took over when spectators and marathon runners began grabbing their cell phones to make calls, to take video footage, shot pictures to send to social media sites and to go to the internet and find out any news.

We signed up for some FREE cooking classes at William Sonoma in the Victoria Gardens Mall in Rancho Cucamonga. They have a kitchen in the front and conduct the classes an hour before the store opens. There were about 30 people and everyone seemed to have a great time and we all got a taste.
Of course I bought two “Ravioli Cutters” but need to buy the attachment for my mixer. It was an expensive “Free” class when I found out how much the attachment is. But it will be (8 comments)

Ontario Int. Airport Cares About Their Passengers and Provides Entertainment
Recently I was at the Ontario International Airport picking up a passenger and while waiting for the luggage, we were entertained by a talented group of kids. After doing further research, I found they were the Claremont High School Symphonic Band. It made the time go by faster waiting. I read on Facebook that there is a group of volunteers who meet monthly to plan nice events like this for passengers and their rides.

Do you ever feel like you are alone and working for nothing. You hustle, follow leads, have rejected offers and just feel like you are wasting your time. We all have those days or months but I believe hard work does pay off. Many agents just sit and wait for their phone to ring and these agents do not last in the business.
It has been a slow year for many but I believe hard work and dedication will pay off and you will have (12 comments)
At Thanksgiving, we couldn’t agree on pie so at the end of the day, my husband ran to the store and bought a pumpkin and an apple. He hates pumpkin and I do not care for apple but the day came to a nice end with pie. Here was the article I wrote about it: We Couldn't Agree on Pie.
But yesterday, all I could think about was “Cherry Pie” so here it is. My kids and husband do not like cherry so I guess I should just get one (20 comments)
