We market for short sales in various ways, and mailers are an intricate part of our plan. I am always looking to improve productivity and focus on viable listings. One area of mailers that has plagued my productivity is the percentage of bad addresses I encounter from our pre-foreclosure lists- usually 10-20%. I trust the list source as much as I could trust any source. But unfortunately some homeowners jump ship when they default, abandoning their distressed property before they explore their options.
