Case in point...
On the Tuesday, January 26th, front page of one of the Inland Empire's newspaper's, here in Southern California, the San Bernardino Sun- The top-left article's headline reads:
"HOME SALES TUMBLE 17 PERCENT"
and the sub-title "Monthly Drop is biggest in 40 years"
"Holy crap! Really?!?! That's it, Honey- There is no way we're buying a home now! The Housing market just gets worse and worse!"

I've noticed that every city that has pride in its community tries to hold a Market Night at least one day a week when the weather permits. Here in the Inland Empire, Redlands has held a Market Night on Thursday nights for years. And same with Riverside, holding their Market Night on Wednesdays.
And now, without any big surprise on my part because Beaumont, CA has as much pride and passion about its community as any city I've seen, The Great Quaint City of Beaumont, California is holding its own … (4 comments)

Oh gosh. We so want this housing crisis/ crash/ correction, whatever you want to call it, over with that I think we aren't wholly considering ALL the steps and pains we must go through to arrive at a normal real estate market (someday, right?)
Case in point, the stage the Southern California market is at right now- especially The Pass areas in the eastern part of the Inland Empire, including the cities Yucaipa, Calimesa, Cherry Valley, Beaumont and Banning, California.

As an agent focused on the Beaumont, California area, and as a Beaumont resident- I hear this negative comment from time to time from clients, friends and family members semi-familiar with the area. Yes we can have some gusts now and again. Yes its more breezy here in Beaumont compared to say, Redlands. Yes we had a wind storm in 2007. And yes when I first moved here to Beaumontthe first thing my next door neighbor said was "I hope you like the wind!"
