The California market has had a terrible down turn. We all know that. But what it has done is clear the air so to speak. We had far too many "agents" out there selling, and worse yet, far too many loan agents getting loans that should have not been approved. We can thank the underwriters for that. Enough with the venting, we need to solve problems, not complain. What has been happening though is the investors are presenting themselves as purchasers. This seems to indicate the prices have bottomed. More and more I see homes going pending. The majority seem to be bank owned, but they will determine the future and current prices of the rest of the homes in their neighborhoods. This market is a different kind of crazy, therefore you need to think indepently to survive. We must all remember the economy is like the tides, it goes up and down.
