Despite The Economic down fall in the High Desert - 04/20/09 11:32 PM
California has been hit hard with 11% unemployment and housing at a stand still. But looking around, the High Desert is still growing in the commercial side. Possibly getting ready for the return of a better economy.
Watching Project's going up within the communities showing that their is interest happening. In Hesperia there has been two residential apartment complexes in the works. Contractors are offering rock bottom prices. Apple Valley California animal shelter and Town Hall annex are currently under construction, as is the High Desert Government Center, with a new fire station in Hesperia and one in Victorville.
