The rush by millions of people to buy no money down homes and the willingness of lenders to make those loans caused the current economic crisis.
With so many homes in default, interest rates low and home prices also low, the turn around in the economy most likely will begin with real estate.
After all buying a home now is probably a safer bet than putting money in the volitile stock market.

My family went to the first regular season game this year.  This is a tradition that many Cache Valley Families have.  The Spectrum is tagged as one of the hardest places to play in the nation.  We currently have one of the longest home winning records over the past 5 to 10 years.  Nobody wants to play in Logan Utah because they will not go home with a W.  We routinely have 20 win seasons and play in post season. 
Aggie basketball is the place to be during the cold winter Cache Valley Nights.

I'm wondering if any one else is getting frustrated with the current lending guidelines.  I am all for tightening up on the years past but I have a great buyer that cannot get a loan.  As an agent I have done everything right, the listing agent has done everything right, the builder has been very flexable and has done everything right.  My buyer has already made over $100,000 this year as shown on a P and L from Quickbooks, of that $54,000 is shown as w2 income, mind you this is for the first 10 months of the year.  He has … (5 comments)

National Realtor Convention Orlando - 11/12/08 11:50 PM
I went to Orlando this week to attend the National Association Of Realtors Convention.  It was a very good time.  My Co-Owner Robert came with me.  We were surprised about the prices this time of year in Flordia.  We stayed in a 3 Bedroom Pool Home in a very nice neighborhood for 5 nights for under $500.  Our rental cars were only $110 for the week and we paid $2.07 per gal for gas.
