Beginning May 1, 2008 and continuing until August 30 the Phoenix Arizona Desert Botanical Garden will be conducting Flashlight Discovery Tours on Thursday through Saturday evenings from 7pm -9pm. Visitors and guides roam the trails in this lovely setting carrying flashlights, never sure what will be ahead of them. Peach season is coming to Arizona! May 2, 2008 begins peach season at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek Arizona. There are peach pancake breakfasts, sampling pavilions, demonstrations by chefs and plenty of peaches for picking. Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am to 5pm until May 31st. They have been growing peaches for about 40 years and all the peaches at the farm are organic. The farm is closed during the week to allow fruit to ripen for the following weekend.
